The World's smallest GPRS module, BGS2, is the world's smallest LGA (pad grid array) module for M2M solutions requiring voice and high speed GPRS data.
Designed for high volume products, this ultra-compact module is ideal for small M2M devices.
Has pioneered and introduced highly effective and reliable LGA surface mounting technology, enabling this fully automated advanced technology product to meet the most demanding M2M application requirements. Today, BGS2 represents the latest technological trend in the development of simplifying the direct link between near field communication (NFC) devices, sensors, or GPS receivers and host application microcontrollers, helping to reduce the total cost of ownership for implementors. Like all Cinterion modules, BGS2 meets the most stringent industry standards, has received Full Model Certification (FTA) and is pre-certified by the world's largest operators, thus supporting global functionality and achieving rapid product to market.

At present, the module has two versions, namely BGS2-E (two-band) and BGS2-W (four-band), all of which contain the TCP/IP protocol stack, and have the ambient temperature of -40 ° C ~+80 ° C for industrial use.
